Planning Commission Information

The Ithaca Planning Commission meets the second Tuesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. at the City of Ithaca Municipal Building, 129 West Emerson Street.

The Planning Commission is comprised of members appointed by the Mayor and are subject to City Council approval.  Members serve 3-year terms.
The Planning Commission exercises all of the powers and functions granted to and required of planning commissions.

Members of the Planning Commission are annually appointed to serve for 3-year terms.  If you are interested in serving on the Commission, please contact the City Clerk at clerk@ithacami.com or 989-875-3200.

The regular meetings of the City of Ithaca Planning Commission will be held in the Council Chambers located at the Ithaca City Hall, 129 W. Emerson Street, Ithaca, Michigan 48847 at 5:00pm.

Business to be considered by the Planning Commission and placed on the agenda must be done so by no later than 12:00 noon on the Friday preceding the meeting.  Items requiring plan review or special use, must have written information submitted at least 30 days prior.   Public comments are a normal agenda item and if unable to attend, public comments may be submitted in writing prior to any meeting.
